The Jagdpanzer 38 saw its combat debut in July 1944 when it was fielded by the Heeres Panzerjäger-Abteilung 731. This unit was deployed to the Eastern Front within Army Group North. An impressive account from the Eastern Front highlights a Jagdpanzer 38 company’s remarkable feat of destroying 20 enemy tanks without suffering any losses.
