Did you know? A brand-new, fully enclosed superstructure with robust armor was constructed atop the Sturmgeschütz III chassis. This structure had a boxy design and housed the upgraded sIG 33/1 infantry gun, positioned slightly to the right. It could carry 30 rounds of ammunition. The gun’s limited movement capabilities included a 3° traverse to both the left and right, an elevation of 25°, and a depression of 6°.
